Good news for Buffalo Wild Wings fans: the restaurant has officially opened its second location in North Central West Virginia!

Saturday was a VIP night in Buckhannon, where members of the Upshur County Chamber of Commerce and select community members came out for the soft opening.

Daniel McArew, the restaurant's general manager, said it's been a long time coming.

"You know, we've worked with our franchise owner's group for a long time, trying to get them to bring a bigger business to a small town. We're very excited to be in a small town. We're excited to be connected," said McArew.

McArew was previously the assistant general manager at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Bridgeport, prior to working in Buckhannon.

The festivities will continue until the restaurant's official grand opening on Monday at 11 a.m., where the first 100 people through the door will get free wings for a year!

Buffalo Wild Wings is located on North Ridge Drive, just off of Route 33 East.
