KANAWHA COUNTY, WV -

A Kroger store in Kanawha County, WV is closing it's doors in April.

According to a clerk who works at the store, the Kroger store, located at 1700 East Dupont Avenue at the Quincy Shopping Center, is closing it's doors on Friday, April 11.

The clerk says the reason he was given for the closing is due to competition, and that the store has been losing money for the past three years.

This closing affects at least 55 jobs.
