Hall Neighbors House Will Cease Operations on Saturday

BUCKHANNON -

The Hall Neighbors House in Buckhannon will cease operations on Saturday.

A spokesperson said that the organization needs another 501C-3 organization to partner with after an agency that distributes the grant funding decided not to continue its partnership.

Staffs at Hall Neighbors House believe this to be only a temporary situation.

The location has been a haven for the past three years in helping people to recover from addictions.

Lynne Snyder released this farewell statement to share with the public.

"Hall Neighbors House has been a haven for social gatherings for the past three years, where those dropping in could converse with other visitors, have a bite to eat, do their laundry, participate in games, consult with Recovery Coaches and learn of community activities and advantages through the "grapevine." As these practices now come to an end this month, with the closing of the Hall Neighbors House,  it is important that the memory of the events held within the confines of this building, reflect the results of a vision for the betterment of the surrounding area. Dreams were fulfilled, experiences were lived out and now the time for good-byes has arrived. Hopefully those departures will encourage others to live their dreams, share them and offer thanks for the times that brought those dreams to fulfillment."
