Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Davis & Elkins College will present the chart-topping Irish band Gaelic Storm on March 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Myles Center for the Arts.

Tickets prices range from $20 to $25 depending on seating location, and group rates are available. Tickets can be purchased online at www.dewv.edu/arts-entertainment. Ticket holders will receive a 10 percent discount on lodging and dinner at Graceland on the day of the show.

Gaelic Storm blends Indie-folk and world grooves with Celtic tradition. The band's latest release, the No. 1 Billboard World Album "The Boathouse" is a collection of traditional songs. It is the first release from Gaelic Storm's "Small Batch Sessions," a new series that will offer exclusive releases only available for purchase on the band's website and at their live shows.

The band got its start in Santa Monica, Calif., in 1996. Within months, they were spotted by producers of "Titanic" and were signed to perform "An Irish Party in Third Class" on the soundtrack and appear in the film.

Once the movie hit theaters, Gaelic Storm became a sought after band, and their success expanded with world tours and music sales. Irish festivals throughout the United States have added Gaelic Storm to their line-ups.

In recent years, they've performed on the same bill with acts ranging from Zac Brown Band and the Goo Goo Dolls to Emmylou Harris and Lyle Lovett, at events as varied as the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Milwaukee's Summerfest.

With catalog sales of more than 1 million, the group has four consecutive albums to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums Chart: 2008's "What's the Rumpus?," 2010's "Cabbage," which remained parked in the top slot for three consecutive weeks, 2012's "Chicken Boxer" and 2013's "The Boathouse."

The band is comprised of Patrick Murphy, lead vocalist, harmonica, accordion and spoons; Steve Twigger, guitar; Ryan Lacey, drums; Pete Purvis, Highland pipes, Uilleann pipes, Irish whistle and bass; and Kiana Weber, violin.
