People weren't only getting free treats from their Valentine's today; Tim Hortons has been participating in Random Acts of Kindness Week.

Employees have been surprising their most loyal customers with free coffee and meals, but customers weren't the only ones to be shown some kindness.

"My one shift supervisor, we had someone stuck in a ditch out in our parking lot, and she actually brought out coffee and some donuts and a hot chocolate for the kid because they were stuck out there and they couldn't get out. So, just something nice for them," said Anthony Brown, Time Hortons GM.

Tim Hortons plans to continue participating in Random Acts of Kindness week until Sunday.
