    Clarksburg City Council approved a second reading of the ordinance to acquire the Rose Garden Theater, Thursday night.
    Clarksburg City Council met Thursday night to discuss ‘The Robinson Grand Theater', also known as the ‘Rose Garden Theater', that the city plans to acquire. 

CLARKSBURG- On Valentine's Day, love was knocking on doors all day long.  The Flower Shop in Clarksburg had six charming men dressed to impress, in tuxedos delivering more than 200 bouquets of flowers to Harrison County residents.  

David Romano and Trent Horton have delivered flowers for the Flower Shop for the past 3 years. Both said making people happy never gets old.  

Romano said, "The reaction you get from people making them joyful and sometimes people even cry."  While Horton added he loves delivering flowers because it not only makes the customers smile it puts a smile on his face as well. "It makes me happy to see other people happy and make them smile.

Valentine's Day is the busiest time of the year for florists. The Flower Shop has prepared all week for this one day.  The Society of American Florists says more than 233 million roses were produced for Valentine's Day last year making up a quarter of the industry's annual business.
