GRAFTON -

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department arrested two people on a kidnapping charge Saturday.

Sheriff Terring Skinner said Christopher Nooner, 28, and Tosha Nooner, 30, were previously charged on meth charges.

After their release, they picked up their two children and took them to a relative.

Skinner said the Nooner's had intentions of transporting the children across state lines.

The sheriff's department issued a warrant for their arrest Saturday morning.

The couple could also face a charge of conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Both children are safe and the Department of Health and Human Resources is trying to re obtain custody of the children.

The couple are in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

Bail has not been set.
