The Tucker County Sheriff's Department has arrested two men on drug charges.
Richard Raymond Linger, 28, of Norton and Denny Ray Wiseman, 26, of Elkins were arrested Tuesday after being dispatched by 911 to respond to a grocery store for two people who may possible be under the influence of drugs. Upon arrival, the responding deputy noticed the men were uneasy, slurring their speech and appeared glassy eyed, according to a criminal complaint.
The deputy found several pill containers, morphine and methadone pills, along with marijuana in the possession of the men.
Both men are charged with possession with intent to deliver. Wiseman is being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail on $25,000 bail and Linger is being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail on $52,000 bail.
