The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's office has charged two people with two counts of first degree arson for a fire that destroyed a mobile home and a camper in Bretz, Preston County.

Stephen Tyler Evasko, 18 of Monongalia County, and Rikki Kristine Waream, 26 of Preston County, set the fire at approximately 2:29 a.m. On Jan. 11. Evasko told investigators Waream was angry at the owners for damage caused to her home during a December eviction. Waream told police the fire was to "scare them a little bit...nothing too big", according to a criminal complaint.

Evasko posted a $50,000 bond. Waream is being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
