Update

West Virginia State Police have confirmed that three people from Marion County who had previously been reported missing, have been located, and they are alive.

State police said Billy Wilkerson, Garrett Wilkerson, and Rick Rohrbough were found over an embankment that was three miles deep on Cheat Mountain.

Search and rescue crews, along with fire personnel and several volunteers, conducted a ground search while WVSP Aviation conducted an aerial search, according to state police. Rescue crews located them around 5:30 p.m. Monday approximately one mile from the vehicle but weren't able to actually get to the victims for a few hours.

Initially, a rescue helicopter from the Maryland State Police was to assist in the rescue but couldn't fly due to weather.

Authorities used snow mobiles and a Snow Cat vehicle to safely rescue all three, according to state police.

Two of the three people suffered from hypothermia and were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital from a landing zone in Beverly, according to state police. Another person refused treatment.   Bill is listed in fair condition and Garrett is listed in good condition at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
