Man Flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital After Harrison County Stabbing

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department said a man was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital after he was stabbed by his brother on Monday night.

Chief Deputy Steve Johnson said it happened around 6:30 p.m. on Cedar Street in Laurel Valley.

Johnson said two brothers, ages 21 and 19, got into a fight when the James William Kent, 21, stabbed his brother, Joseph Kent, 19, in the neck with a fixed-blade knife.

James Kent is in North Central Regional Jail on a malicious wounding charge. He's being held on $20,000 bail. His brother, Joseph, is at Ruby Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
