New River Community and Technical College will host Career and College Transfer Fairs at three locations in April.

The fairs will allow employers and colleges the opportunity to share information and to discuss career opportunities and college transfer options with New River students, graduates and community members.

According to Candice Stadler, director of Career Services, employers are encouraged to promote all employment opportunities including internships, seasonal, part-time and full time positions. There may also be students who want to ask questions about their chosen fields or have questions about transferring to a four-year institution.

The fair for the Raleigh and Mercer County Campus communities will take place Thursday, April 3, at New River's Advanced Technology Center located at 527 Odd Road in Ghent, W. Va.

The Greenbrier Valley Campus fair will take place Tuesday, April 8, in Greenbrier Hall, at 101 Church Street in Lewisburg.

The Nicholas County fair will be Thursday, April 10, at the campus located at 6101 Webster Road in Summersville. All fairs will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m.

Registration is available online at www.newriver.edu/career, and space is limited.

Registrations will be accepted in the order they are received. Employers who have any questions concerning the Career and Transfer Fairs can contact Stadler at (304) 929-5020, cstadler@newriver.edu.

College representatives interested in participating can contact Peggy Epling, coordinator of Student Success Centers, at (304) 929-5027 or pepling@newriver.edu.
