College Students Coming to Monongalia County to Help Habitat For Humanity

Posted: Updated:

College students are trading in a spring break beach vacation to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.

Boston College students are the first of many groups to come to Monongalia County to help build affordable housing.

60 students from four colleges across the country will be coming to the county for the Collegiate Challenge.

"It's a great opportunity for students to support not just their local agencies. If they want to get involved on a local level, or a national level, they can reach out and help out. They don't just have to do it in their backyard," said Tara Dille, Habitat for Humanity.

Monongalia County Habitat for Humanity is always looking for supervisor volunteers.
