Renaissance Art Gallery in Huntington will host the work of Clarice Kumlien (pictured below) and her son Eric Kumlien from March 7 to April 19.

Clarice Kumlien is an active, 86-year-old artist and is president of the Ironton Artists Association. She is a retired nurse instructor, has taught yoga for the past 25 years and creates watercolor paintings of country landscapes as well as still life paintings of flowers and vegetables she grows in her garden.

Eric Kumlien earned a degree from Marshall University and currently makes ceramics at Huntington Museum of Art under its artist-in-residence, Kathleen Knefskey.

The public is invited to an opening reception of the exhibit from 2-4 p.m. March 9 at the gallery, located at 900 8th St. in Huntington.
