The Harrison County Street Crimes and Drug Unit have arrested a Good Hope man on a meth related charge.
The SCAD Unit and West Virginia State Parole Office arrested Jason Highland, 37, and charged him with possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and for parole violations. Highland was on parole for forgery charges at the time of his arrest. The Parole office received information that Highland might be making meth at his house and requested assistance from the SCAD.
Once at Highland's house, SCAD officers found several items used to make meth, including 2,600mg of pseudoephedrine. Two previous meth labs were also located at Highland's house. The SCAD unit contacted the Lewis County Sheriff's Department Meth Lab Team to help dismantle the labs and remove the precursors.
Highland is being held in North Central Regional Jail on $25,000 bail.
