The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating an incident that happened at the Handi Mart in Worthington Sunday evening.

Marion County 911 officials said they dispatched authorities to Route 218 around 5:45 p.m. following reports of an armed robbery.

Authorities said the robber entered the store with a gun, and took an undisclosed amount of cash. Deputies are looking for two white men, one who is believed to have had facial hair and was wearing a Spongebob Squarepants hat, and the other man that entered the store was described as a thin man in a black hoodie and baggy jeans.  They left the scene in a faded red Toyota Corolla.

If you have any information, call the Marion County Sheriff's Department at  304-367-5300.

West Virginia State Police and Natural Resource Police also responded to the scene, according to 911 officials.
