The West Virginia State Police Crimes Against Children Unit has arrested a Fairmont man on child pornography charges.
Elliot Stache, 25, was charged with 20 felony counts of distribution, exhibiting and possessing material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit material, said Sgt. Adam Scott. Investigators discovered child pornography was being downloaded from the Internet into Stache's Fairmont house and obtained a search warrant. Sgt. Scott seized various computer related materials including digital media. On the media, investigators found hundreds of videos and photographs of children as young as three years old engaged in sexual intercourse with adults as well as other children.
Stache admitted that he downloaded the illegal images and videos and said he was addicted to it.
