"God's Not Dead" Movie Being Screened in Elkins

A local business owner has partnered with a Randolph County Cinema to bring in for showing the movie titled "God's Not Dead."

The movie opens Friday, March 21 at Elkins Cinema 8.

It tells the story of how a college student's faith is challenged by his philosophy professor, who believes God doesn't exist.

Heath Quint, marketing manager of Elkins Cinema 8 said "God's Not Dead" is the most requested movie its had this year. Quint said Elkins Cinema 8 is the only theatre in the area playing the movie.

"God's Not Dead" stars Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain. Willie and Korie Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame are also featured in the movie. 

"God's Not Dead" is rated PG and will show nightly March 21 through April 3 at 6:30 p.m. and 9:20 p.m., with matinees on March 21, 26, 28 and April 2 at 3:30 p.m. Additional matinees will take place on March 22, 23, 29 and 30 at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Advance tickets are on sale now and recommended for its opening weekend.
