The West Virginia State Fire Marshall continues to investigate a fire that occured on Monday morning.

The home was declared a total loss by the Nutter Fort VFD after five units reported to the scene of the house fire as soon as they received the call.

Both residents of the home were able to escape the fire with just cuts and bruises after escaping the fire through a window.  They were transported to UHC.

The State Fire Marshall has not given any statements on whether the fire is suspicious.

A mobile home caught fire around 12:45 a.m. on Monday in the Glen Falls section of Harrison County.

Five units responded to the scene from Nutter Fort, Stonewood, and Reynoldsville Fire Departments.

Firefighters used tankers to put out the fire, because there were not any fire hydrants located nearby the home.

Harrison County EMS was also on scene, and transported two men to United Hospital Center for treatment.

That mobile home was a total loss. The Nutter Fort Fire Department is investigating.
