The Preston County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of an armed robbery just before 1 p.m. Tuesday at the WesBanco at 400 Morgantown Street in Bruceton Mills.

The suspect is described as a thin white man who is between 5'10'' to 6' tall, wearing a gray long sleeve t-shirt, black athletic pants with white stripes, a John Cena ball cap and work gloves.  The suspect fled from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Law enforcement is looking for a late model Black Durango as a vehicle of interest.  The Bruceton Elementary School, across the street from the bank, was closed briefly.

The suspect was last seen fleeing from the bank and driving in a Black Dodge Durango, heading west on West Vriginia Route 73.

Several leads have developed and are currently being investigated.
