BUCKHANNON -

West Virginia State Police have arrested and charged a 19-year-old man with sexual assault in the third degree.

State Police said it received a sexual abuse complaint from a juvenile on Jan. 18. A 12-year-old girl told state police that Damion Tyler Cobb, 19, of Buckhannon was her boyfriend, according to a criminal complaint.

State Police said it viewed surveillance video at the office of the Upshur County bus garage on the day and time in question. The video confirmed the incident took place as the girl had described.

The victim stated Cobb touched parts of her body. She also said that Cobb stopped when she asked him to stop. When Cobb asked if she wanted to touch him, she said no, and Cobb grabbed her hand, and stuck her hand down his pants.

Cobb's bond was set at $75,000.
