Fairmont Police Arrest Man on Sexual Abuse Charges

The Fairmont Police Department has arrested a man on sexual abuse charges.

Fairmont Police arrested Gene Michael Mcintosh, 28, of Fairmont, and charged him with first degree sexual abuse and sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust to a child. Police received information that Mcintosh had sexually abused a 14-year-old girl in an abandoned house on Quincy Street. The girl told police that he threatened to kill her, burn her house down, and burn her church down if she told anyone, said a criminal complaint filed by Detective Adrian Hayhurst.

Mcintosh is being held in North Central Regional Jail on $100,000 bail.
