State Police Investigating Blacksville Armed Robbery

Update:

West Virginia State Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Blacksville business.

It happened Sunday around 5 p.m. at the Belko Foods on Daybrook Road. 

Troopers said a white man, wearing a red bandana, about 5'6", entered the store and pulled a gun on the cashier. 

A female driver waited outside during the robbery. State Police believe its the same robber they are looking for from an armed robbery that took place in Greene County, Pa.

Troopers are looking for a dark green Toyota sedan. 

The robber got away with $400, officials said.

Authorities are looking at video surveillance and should have still images on Monday.

State Police are asking that anyone in or around the store during the time of the robbery should contact them at 304-285-3200.

State police are on the scene of a reported armed robbery in Monongalia County.

MECCA 911 said it dispatched authorities to Belko Foods on Daybrook Road in Blacksville around 5:15 p.m. Sunday evening.
