    For more than 10 years, College Summit West Virginia has been helping make higher education more attainable for 37,000 students who have participated in the program.

The West Liberty University Economics Club will welcome syndicated columnist and author Cal Thomas at noon, Thursday, April 3 to the River City Restaurant, 1400 Main Street, West Liberty, WV.

Thomas is a panelist currently on the popular show Fox News Watch. He has also worked with NBC, CNBC, PBS and the FOX News Network, where he frequently provides political commentary. He has authored over ten books, including "The Death of Ethics in America," "Uncommon Sense" and "The Things That Matter Most." In 1995, Thomas was honored with a Cable ACE Award nomination for Best Interview Program. Other awards include a George Foster Peabody team reporting award and awards from both the Associated Press and United Press International. In addition to his journalistic and literary achievements, Thomas lectures frequently on college campuses and is in demand as a speaker for private, public and corporate audiences worldwide. Thomas and his wife Ray, who is a family therapist, have four children and eight grandchildren and currently live in the Washington, D.C. area.

 •   July 24, Joy Pullmann, Research Fellow at The Heartland Institute.

All events are open to the public and begin at noon at River City.
