Posted: Updated:

The Randolph County Ambulance Authority will purchase two new CPR units.

The units cost a total of $24,000. Thursday, the county commission approved giving $20,000 from a coal severance tax, while the ambulance authority will cover the remaining cost.

It already has one unit that covers Elkins. The other two units will cover the Mill Creek and Harman areas.

Once purchased, those units will be used immediately.
