CHARLESTON, WV -

Four employees of City National Bank in West Virginia recently won the bank's 2014 City Cares awards and will have a $1,500 donation made to the charity of each winner's choice.

Employees were nominated by their peers, with anyone in the company eligible for nomination. A committee of City employees selected the winning employees.

The bank's president and CEO Charles "Skip" Hageboeck announced the winners: Melissa Knott from Charles Town, whose charity is Jefferson County Community Ministries; Tammy Hale from the downtown Charleston office, who selected Children's Therapy Clinic; Chuck Nuckles from the Cross Lanes office, who selected Union Mission Cross Roads and Tyler Mountain Cross Lanes Community Service; and Joe Blankenship from the Hinton office, whose selection was the Hinton Area Foundation for Hinton Little League Baseball.

Two other city workers from Virginia and Kentucky also won City Cares awards.
