A Rock Cave man has pleaded guilty to one count of felony sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian.
Margel Tenney, 57, appeared in Upshur County court Monday and entered the plea, said Prosecuting Attorney Jake Reger.
Circuit Judge Kurt Hall ordered a pre-sentence investigation and a sex offender evaluation will be completed before Tenney's sentencing, which was tentatively set for June 30. Tenney faces up to 20 years in prison.
Tenney was at the center of a March 2013 man hunt when an amber alert was issued for his step-daughter and her infant daughter. West Virginia State Police arrested Tenney on Interstate 79 south near mile marker 104 in Lewis County.
