Allen Clayton joined the WBOY 12 News team in May 2012 as a video journalist. He graduated from the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University in 2011.

Allen loves going out and meeting new people everyday to be able to tell their story across North Central West Virginia.

Allen is a true West Virginian who was raised in Webster Springs. He graduated from Webster County High School in 2006.  (Go Highlanders!)

He is proud to be from Webster County and loves to visit his hometown for annual events, such as the Woodchopping Festival.

When Allen is not in the newsroom, you can find him spending time with family and friends, browsing the web, reading news, and cooking with family and friends. Allen also loves traveling and going to new places to go sightseeing as much as he can.
