School Building Authority announces funding for various projects throughout WV

On April 28, the West Virginia School Building Authority announced the awarding of grants during its quarterly meeting at Capital High School.

Funding was awarded to Brooke County for a new middle school and for HVAC renovations at Brooke County High School. In Doddridge County, funds for a two-classroom addition at Doddridge Elementary School were granted.

Additional funds were provided to Gilmer County for a new Gilmer Elementary School; to Mingo County for additions/renovations to Burch Middle School; to Monongalia County for a new Suncrest Elementary School and to Ohio County for renovations to Ritchie Elementary School. In Wayne County funds were granted for a new Ceredo Kenova Elementary School, a new Crum PK-8 and renovations for Wayne County High School.

The total of School Building Authority funding allocated for the year is $43,356,146.
