    The West Virginia State Police took it's mobile forensic center to the WVU campus for future crime scene investigators to check out.Middle school and high school students from all over went to the university to learn several different methods for crime scene investigating.

UPDATE: 

Mon Power crews are investigating the cause of the power outages in Harrison County.

The outages are in areas west of Clarksburg near Oakmound Road and the Veterans Memorial Park.

Mon Power reported the outages Tuesday night at 11:30 p.m. 

The power was restored just after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

No word on the cause of the outages or if a 3 vehicle collision involving a telephone pole on West Pike Street is the cause.

About 2,000 people are without power Tuesday night west of Clarksburg.

Mon Power reported the outages near Oakmound Road and the Veterans Memorial Park around 11:30 p.m.

They said the power should be restored Wednesday morning around 2 a.m.

Mon Power is still investigating the cause. 

Harrison County 911 said around 11:30 p.m. police responded to a 3 vehicle collision involving a telephone pole.

911 officials said the Clarksburg Police Department responded to the scene on West Pike Street in Clarksburg.

Officials said there were no reported injuries.

It is unclear if the vehicle collision is the cause of the power outages.
