HUNTINGTON, WV -

A Huntington-area tradition will open for the 111th season this weekend. Camden Park, promoted as “The Tri-State’s Favorite Playground,” opens May 3-4.

The amusement park, located Route 60 West, Huntington, will celebrate the opening with a concert by Steve Free and his band on May 4.

Camden Park will have a Mother’s Day special on May 11. Moms get in for $1 when purchasing admission with a guest paying regular general admission.

“This is the best discount Camden Park offers and should bring a smile to everyone on Mother’s Day,” said General Manager Jack Boylin. “It is our way of saying that all moms are special at Camden Park.”
