UPDATE: Second Person Arrested After Escaped Inmate Is Found In Nicholas County

A Grafton woman has been arrested after assisting in the escape of a Pruntytown inmate.

Troopers said Jessie Shipley, 25, has been charged with aiding and abetting in Rodney Hypes' escape.

She is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail. Bail has not yet been set.

Troopers will release additional details as the investigation continues.

Authorities in Nicholas County have located Rodney Hypes, 30, the inmate who escaped from the Pruntytown Correctional Center last night. State police and the sheriff's department located Hypes in Craigsville around 2:30 Sunday afternoon, according to Pruntytown officials.

No word on where authorities located him or what additional charges Hypes could face.

Authorities in Taylor County are looking for an inmate who has escaped from the Pruntytown Correctional Center.

State police are asking people to be on the lookout for the man for Rodney Hypes, 30, who escaped Saturday night. He was last seen at a housing unit around 6:30 dressed in full khakis. Authorities believed he escaped shortly after.

He was sentenced out of Nicholas County for grand larceny and burglary.

Hypes has brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 5'10 and weighs 200 pounds.

Hypes has tattoos on his left arm (sleeve w/gargoyle, faces, skulls, flames, clouds, tribal, and iron cross); left bicep (skull, faces, clock, "Hypes"); and abdomen ("Your Name"); right bicep (Grim Reaper); and right lower leg (dragon).

Pruntytown said Hypes could be armed and dangerous.
