For Test it Tuesday this week, Gretchen Ross joined me to try out the Hot Buns.
The product is supposed to make a perfect bun in your hair, and it is supposed to be sturdy.
Not only that, but it is also supposed to make beautiful curls in your hair without using any kind of heat.
The product is supposed to be as easy as "roll, snap and wrap".
One thing I noticed, is the "snap" part of the equation was difficult because the fabric kept getting in the way.
Once I was able to snap it in Gretchen's hair, it worked really well though.
It stayed in place really well and didn't fall out when she shook her head back and fourth.
I also took it home and took a nap with it in my hair and surprisingly, it didn't fall out of place either.
Gretchen had a hard time putting the product in her hair herself though, it works best if you have someone to do it for you.
I tested it to see if it would curl my hair.
I got my hair damp, put Hot Buns in it, and left it in for three hours.
It just ended up flipping my hair up, and it didn't look very good.
Gretchen and I both agreed, this product seems great if you have someone else there to help you put it in. You'll also need some bobby pins and hairspray to make sure that it stays in place.
