Another 'Superload' Moving Through Marshall County

Posted: Updated:
Marshall County - Marshall County drivers may face some delays on Friday, June 6, as another "superload" moves through the county on its way to a natural gas site.

The massive load of natural gas equipment will begin moving through the area at 9 a.m. and is expected to finish its journey to Williams Energy's Oak Grove Facility by 5 p.m.

It will leave from the Benwood rail yard and travel south on West Virginia Route 2 to Sixth Street in Glen Dale at a speed of about 15 to 25 miles per hour. The superload will follow the same route the previous superload took, on its way to the Williams site near Cameron.

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises drivers to use an alternate route to avoid any long delays.
