Delmonte Market Holds Grand Opening in Elkins

Posted: Updated:
A popular Elkins business owner has relocated to the historic Delmonte Hotel in an effort to expand both her business and others' as well.

Tammy's Floral and Bridal has been located on Randolph Avenue for the past 17 years but has recently moved to Railroad Avenue as an indoor marketplace.

The Delmonte Market offers a variety of food products, handmade items, home décor items and more from more than 14 local vendors. Owner Tammy Dolly says this is a dream come true.

"It's a beautiful, beautiful building and a place where we can expand and grow and bring in other vendors in our area," said Dolly. "This is our town, this is our  home, we love West Virginia, and we feel like we're just bringing everything together and offering the state a wonderful place to come and shop. We've added three new businesses to Elkins by opening the marketplace."

"We've definitely noticed traffic from the train, and we hope to offer them another place to come," said store manager Doug Starcher.

The Delmonte Market is open seven days a week:
Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 12 to 4 p.m.
