Cartus also recently published its 2014 Global Citizenship Report, which is available on a microsite dedicated to detailing its various global citizenship initiatives.

"I continue to be extraordinarily proud of our company and for the generosity, involvement, and commitment of all of our employees to our sustainability efforts and results," said Kevin J. Kelleher, Cartus president and chief executive officer. "This is part of our company culture-not only supporting our clients and their relocating employees, but also giving back to our communities around the world. This is indeed a true differentiator for Cartus."

Companies that have signed the United Nations Global Compact are expected to align their operations and strategies with 10 universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption.

The UN Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rightslabor, environment and anti-corruption. By doing so, business, as a primary driver of globalization, can help ensure that markets, commerce, technology and finance advance in ways that benefit economies and societies everywhere.

As social, political, and economic challenges (and opportunities)-both at home and abroad-affect business more than ever before, many companies recognize the need to collaborate and partner with governments, civil society, labor, and the United Nations.
