The state's division of Public Transit and Barons Bus lines partnered to make travel easier between Charleston and Morgantown. The bus route includes stops in Clendenin, Flatwoods, Weston, Clarksburg, and Fairmont.
Through July 7 you can ride the bus for free after that fares are $3 per stop and a max of $15. The cost is a huge advantage for those like Sara Vandell that drive once a week to WVU for classes. "It's going to be huge help for me and my family that's once a week I spend $75 I won't have to pay anymore," she said.
All the buses are no more than one year old and come with WiFi, power outlets, restrooms, reclining seats.
And those of you thinking ahead to WVU football games this fall, there has been conversation about adding additional buses during that time of the year.
