An 18-year old Poca native is about to release his third published book.

eLectio Publishing is the publisher of “Ecclesiastes,” written by Joshua Higginbotham.

He will be a freshman at the University of Charleston this fall.

“We are excited about Joshua Higginbotham’s first release with eLectio,” said eLectio CEO Jesse Greever. “He writes with a depth that is usually only found in authors with many decades of writing experience.”

Higginbotham, whose last book from 2013 was titled “Faded Notion: Truth is Stranger than Fiction” said his motivation has always remained the same.

“I simply want to help bring people closer to God and teach them about His truths,” he said.

The Ecclesiastes book launch party is planned for 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Women’s Club of Charleston on Virginia Street. For information about attending, call 304-881-1864.

Ecclesiastes will be available beginning July 25 at eLectioPublishing.com, amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and other retailers.
