In January 2014, three people died as a result of a house fire in the Littleton area of Wetzel County.  On Monday, two Pennsylvania residents were arrested and charged with three counts of first degree murder, in the case.  Samuel Spencer, 25 and Natasha, 26, both of Wind Ridge, Pennsylvania were arrested in Waynesburg.  Michael McDougal, 63 and Carmen McDougal, 55, the residents of the home on Cliff Run Road, along with Jimmy Kisner, 48 of Aleppo, Pennsylvania, were killed in the fire.

The arrests come after an investigation by the West Virginia State Police.  Troopers established the case against the pair through interviews, video surveillance and physical evidence, they said.  A motive has not been released.  Spencer and Burns will need to be extradited from Pennsylvania to West Virginia to face the charges.  Extradition proceedings are scheduled for July 28, state police said.

The West Virginia State Police were assisted in the case by the FBI and the Pennsylvania State Police.
