An Ireland man sought by the The Lewis County Sheriff's Department  in connection to a drug raid has been captured in Braxton County.

Darley James McCray is charged with five felony drug offenses and one misdemeanor firearm charge, said Sheriff Adam Gissy.  A large amount of drugs and cash in McCray's home were found as a result of an investigation involving a confidential informant.

"McCray could easily be considered one of the largest drug dealers in our county, and quite possibly within a tri-county region in Lewis, Upshur, and Braxton counties," said Gissy.  Deputies found 13 pounds of marijuana, 22 grams of meth, 114 hydrocodone pills, 47 oxycodone pills, $20,000 in cash and $62,700 worth of drugs.

The sheriff's department plans to charge McCray with one count of cultivation of marijuana, one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, one count of possession with intent to deliver meth, one count of possession with intent to deliver hydrocodone, one count of possession with intent to deliver oxycodone, and one count of a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
