SAN DIEGO, Aug. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony, a worldwide leader in digital cameras, proudly announces the addition of legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk to the "Team Action Cam" family.  Easily one of the most recognizable action sports figures of all-time, Tony Hawk's signing represents a significant step in Sony's aggressive marketing plans in support of the Action Cam line.

"I'm excited to join Team Action Cam," said Tony Hawk. "I've used Sony cameras throughout my entire skating career, and brought the new Action Cams out with the team on the Birdhouse Tour.  The new cameras allow me to create content from angles I could never get before, and the quality is better than anything else out there," said Hawk. "I can't wait to share more Action Cam videos with my fans." Check out how Action Cam welcome's @TonyHawk to the team (LINK). #ActionCam.
