Two people are dead after a collision following a car jacking in Lewis County.
Marion County deputies said 33-year-old Ryan Hubbs collided with a vehicle at the entrance of the Middletown Mall in White Hall around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
64-year-old David Glasscock and 65-year-old Sandra Glasscock died in the collision.
This happened after Weston Police said Hubbs stole a woman’s car at gunpoint, near the CVS and Rite-Aid in Weston.
Hubbs is charged with armed robbery and other charges are pending.
Two people are dead after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of White Hall Boulevard and Middletown Road, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
The accident occurred just before 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
Two people died in the accident, and one person was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
The Marion County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management said the intersection is closed to one lane of traffic until further notice.
The Marion County Rescue Squad, West Virginia State Police, and White Hall Police responded to the scene. The White Hall Police Department is handling the investigation, and an accident reconstruction expert has been called to the scene.
There is no word on what caused the accident at this time.
