A memorial celebration was held to honor Brad Westfall, a five time West Virginia Open PGA player on Saturday.
288 golfers from the tri-state area, southern United States, and Canada played in a four man scramble in memory of Westfall.
“Friends and family wanted to do something that was close to his heart. He loved to give to the kids. So, all of the proceeds from this benefit are going to be given to two college scholarships,” said Carol Ann Harvey, Tygart Lake Golf Course.
These scholarships will go to students at Buckhannon Upshur High School and Grafton High School.
