Farmington House Fire Sends 1 to FRMC


Just before 5 p.m., a crew from the Farmington department responded to the scene of a house fire. The fire happened on Mirkwood Street in Farmington.

Farmington Chief said that the fire took about an hour to control, but the cause of what started the fire has not been determined.  The home is a total loss. There were about 10 oxygen tanks located in the home. The investigation is ongoing.

One elderly man was transported to Fairmont Regional Medical Center for his injuries. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
