The former director of the Miracle Meadows School in Salem was sentenced Friday to six months in jail followed by five years of probation for crimes she committed while in charge of the school. 

Susan Gayle Clark, 70, of Pennsboro, was ordered into custody at the proceeding by Judge Thomas Bedell. 

The probation includes no direct contact with anyone under 18 years of age, and Clark is not allowed to leave West Virginia. 

Clark was charged with failure to report, obstruction of a law enforcement officer during an investigation, knowingly making false statements to law enforcement, child neglect resulting in injury and child neglect causing injury.
