Harrison County Grand Jury Indicts 68, Includes Man Accused in 2001 Rape & Robbery

A Harrison County Grand Jury has indicted 68 people during the September 2016 term.

Joseph A. Buffey, who was recently able to withdraw his guilty pleas in a November 2001 rape and robbery of an elderly woman, has been indicted on unrelated incidents that also occurred in 2001. He was indicted for the third-degree sexual assault of a young teenage girl that occurred while he was 19 and was also indicted on charges of aiding and abetting breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering in connection with an alleged 2001 break-in at the Good Hope Animal Clinic.

The following people were indicted on the following charges…

– John Thomas, III, of Clarksburg, on one count of murder for a Chestnut Street stabbing in March

– Jonathan Robinson, Bellaire, Ohio, on one count of first degree arson for allegedly burning down the home of his children and their mother in December 2015

– Robert Skidmore, Jr., of Haywood, on one count of driving in an impaired state causing death after a 2015 Thanksgiving Day accident outside of Clarksburg

– Bruce Clayton, of Fairview, on one count of soliciting a minor via computer

– Charles Baldwin, of Mogantown, on one count of soliciting a minor via computer

– Hobert Powers, of Paden City, on one count of soliciting a minor via computer

– Frank Horner, Jr., of Clarksburg, on one count of malicious assault

– Zackary Watkins, of Lost Creek, on one count of malicious assault

– Johnny Workman, of Clarksburg, on one count of malicious assault

– Jeremy Waterman, of Clarksburg, on one count of child neglect creating a substantial risk of bodily injury and one count of contributing to the delinquency or neglect of a child

– Scottie Everett, of Clarksburg, on one count of third or subsequent offense domestic battery

– Wayne Johnson, of Clarskburg, on one count of third or subsequent offense domestic battery, three counts of burglary, two counts of grand larceny, and two counts of destruction of property

– Derrick Savage, of Clarksburg, on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled susbtance

– Autumn McCraw, of Burnsville, on one count of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance

– Jordan Jenkins, of Lost Creek, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– Andre Watkins, of Clarksburg, on two count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance

– Leslie Adkins, of Cross Lanes, on two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to deliver of a controlled substance

– Andrea Simmons, of Glen Falls, on one count of delivery of a controlled substance

– Ruben Aguilar, of Clarksburg, on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance

– Ryan Viglianco, of Stonewood, on one count of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance

– Hollie Holstine, of Clarksburg, on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance

– Jason Haun, of Fairmont, on two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance

– Wilford Haun, of Warren, Ohio, on two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance

– Guy Lippencott, of Stonewood, on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of transferring or receiving stolen property, one count of grand larceny, and one count of conspiracy to commit grand larceny

– Pete Gallo, of Reynoldsville, on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance

– Jeni Fury, of Bridgeport, on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance

– Joshua Grey, of Lost Creek, on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and three counts of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance

– Jalisa Hawkins, of Duquesne, Pa., on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– Chad Neal, of Pittsburgh, Pa., on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– Russell Spence, of Duquesne, Pa., on one count of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance and one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– Dustin Parker, of Clarksburg, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance

– Jamie Brown, of Clarksburg, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance

– Thomas Goodwine, of Pittsburgh, Pa., on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– David Bailey, of Fairmont, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– Shane Critchfield, of Clarksburg, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– Christopher Toppings, of the Salem Correctional Facility, on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance on the grounds of a state correctional facility

– Christopher Bennett, of Clarksburg, on one count of first degree robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor

– Wanda Patterson, of Clarksburg, on one count of first degree robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, and one count of gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury

– Loren Garcia, of Clarksburg, on one count of first degree robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, and one count of gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury

– Roger Hamrick, II, of Lumberport, on two counts of fourth degree arson, one count of causing injuries during an arson-related crime, and one count of domestic battery

– Charles Sutter, of Clarksburg, on one count of fleeing in a vehicle showing a reckless indifference to the safety of others and one count of grand larceny

– Scott Cobun, Jr., of Stonewood, on one count of grand larceny and one count of conspiracy to commit grand larceny

– Andrea Greaver, of Bridgeport, on one count of grand larceny

– Todd Benson, of Clarksburg, on two counts of battery, one count of burglary, and one count of conspiracy to commit burglary

– David Davis, II, of Clarksburg, on one count of burglary and one count of conspiracy to commit burglary

– Woody Gorman, of Clarksburg, on one count of burglary and one count of petit larceny

– Jason Stalnaker, of Salem, on two counts of third offense driving under the influence of alcohol

– David Sayers, of Clarksburg, on one count of third offense driving while license revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol

– Andrew Wiant, of Clarksburg, on one count of third or subsequent offense driving with an operator’s license suspended or revoked for driving while under the influence of alcohol 

– Jeffrey Sowers, of Shinnston, on one count of third or subsequent offense driving while license revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol

– Richard Gordon, of West Milford, on one count of third or subsequent offense driving while license revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol 

– Jimmy Knight, of Clarksburg, on two counts of third or subsequent offense driving with an operator’s license suspended or revoked for driving while under the influence of alcohol, two counts of third or subsequent offense shoplifting, and one count of third or subsequent offense domestic battery

– Raymond Bell, of Wallace, on one count of assault on a governmental representative, one count of driving with an operator’s license suspended or revoked for driving while under the influence of alcohol, and one count of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited from possessing firearms

– Jeffrey Kessler, of Lost River, on one count of destruction of property

– Dwayne Thorton, of Clarksburg, on one count of fraudulent schemes

– Holly Urlahs, of Elkview, on one count of obtaining property by false pretenses

– Dawn Marks, also known as Renay Marks, of Wallace, on one count of forgery and one count of uttering

– Tyler Leonard, of Center Point, on one count of accessory to possession of a telecommunications device by inmate, one count of conspiracy to commit possession of telecommunications device by inmate, and one count of unlawful delivery of certain materials to an inmate

– Jesse Roton, of Clarksburg, on one count of second offense failure to register sexual offender registration information or provide notice of sexual offender registration information changes by sexual offender required to register for life

– Corey Baldwin, of Clarksburg, on one count of failure to meet an obligation to pay support to a minor

– Shawn Justice, of Harrisburg, NC, on one count of failure to meet an obligation to pay support to a minor

– Julian Trickett, of Clarkburg, on one count of battery and one count of third or subsequent offense shoplifting

– Kenneth Workman, of Clarksburg, on four counts of third or subsequent offense shoplifting and one count of petit larceny

– Mary Whytsell, of Clarksburg, on two counts of third or subsequent offense shoplifting

– Joseph G. Buffey, of Clarksburg, on one count of third or subsequent offense shoplifting

– Lloyd Parker, II, of Spelter, on one count of third or subsequent offense shoplifting

– Paul Shaffer, of Masontown, on one count of third or subsequent offense shoplifting
