A organization in Marion County is working to fight against drug abuse in small communities.
The Family Resource Network and a representative from the West Virginia Attorney General’s office went door to door in Barrackville today.
They handed out resources on how to receive help with drug addiction after making stops in Grant Town earlier this year.
The group said this can help start conversations on how communities battle drug problems
“We believe that we’re on the right track,” said Frank Jarman, director of the Family Resource Network. “The feedback we’ve gotten from the people we’ve worked with and even today, they believe it’s needed here and we’re going to continue this and I can’t wait to get the small communities meeting started so they can give us their opinions of what needs to be worked on.”
The FRN will also visit Baxter and Fairview before holding a town hall meeting.
