West Virginia State Police responded to an armed robbery early Wednesday morning. After an investigation, troopers determined that several individuals traveled to a residence on River Road in Monongalia County and attempted a robbery.
During the robbery, the victim fired several shots at the suspects. The suspects were later revealed as Timothy Conner, 30, Stephanie Ann Allen, 24, and William Harlow, 44, all of Morgantown. Conner and Allen were treated at Ruby Memorial Hospital and released for the gunshot wounds they received.
All three suspects were arrested for first degree armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony with injury or property. The suspects were arraigned in Monongalia County Magistrate Court and are now being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
Monongalia County authorities are investigating another reported armed robbery in the area.
West Virginia state troopers and sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on River Road just after 5:45 a.m. Wednesday.
People at the scene were taken to the hospital, state troopers told 12 News. There is no word on the severity of their injuries.
911 dispatchers said the investigation is in its early stages and is too soon to tell if this is a confirmed armed robbery.
