Monongalia County Grand Jury Indicts 87

A Monongalia County grand jury indicted 87 people during the May 2016 term.

The following people were indicted on the following charges:

– Jesse Kramer on one count of attempted murder, one count of malicious assault, one count of robbery, and one count of assault following a stabbing in February.

– Mark Myers on one count of first degree sexual assault for allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl when she came over to see his dog.

– Alex Hambrick on one count of leaving the scene with death and one count of DUI causing death after he allegedly struck and killed a 20-year-old woman in Morgantown with his vehicle.

– Christopher Smith on one count of involuntary manslaughter and one count of wanton endangerment involving a firearm after he allegedly “mishandled a handgun” and shot and killed a juvenile.

– Tyler Hurley on one count of child abuse resulting in injury after a 15-month-old baby was brought to the hospital with second-degree burns from a bath.

– Stephanie Weis on one count of child abuse resulting in injury after she allegedly broke a child’s arm while employed at Pleasant Day Schools.

– Jeffrey Hancock, Jr. on one count of first degree sexual abuse and one count of burglary after he allegedly broke into a woman’s home, stood over her while she was sleeping and began touching her.

– Zachary Lefever on one count of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy for allegedly working with two other men from Detroit to sell oxycodone.

– Joshua Rosenberger on three counts of robbery and one count of embezzlement for allegedly taking money from a company he was working for and robbing multiple places in Monongalia County.

– Zackery Deitzel on one count of attempting to operate or operating a drug laboratory and one count of conspiracy for allegedly making methamphetamine down a back road.

– Jessica Woy on one count of attempting to operate or operating a drug laboratory and one count of conspiracy for allegedly making methamphetamine, along with Deitzel, down a back road.

– Aaron Pennington on three counts of robbery for multiple robberies in the Blacksville area.

– Todd Knudson on one count of conspiracy and one count of burglary for allegedly breaking into a home after they found out the person had died by reading their obituary.

– Joseph Szcryrbak on one count of conspiracy and one count of burglary for allegedly breaking into a home, along with Knudson, after they found out the person had died by reading their obituary.

– Timothy Cress on one count of burglary and one count of conspiracy after a string of robberies in Monongalia County.

– Rodney Moats on one count of burglary and one count of conspiracy after a string of robberies in Monongalia County.

– Dennis McCoy on one count of third degree sexual assault

– Gary Mayfield on one count of distribution of child pornography

– Dong Xu on one count of possession of materials depicting minors in sexually explicit conduct and one count of entering without breaking

– Seth Trentini on two counts of malicious assault and one count of fraudulent use of an access device

– Nicholas Spina on one count of operating a drug laboratory and one count of conspiracy

– Traci Starkey on one count of operating a drug laboratory and one count of conspiracy 

– Dwight Hurd on four counts of delivery of a controlled substance

– Samuel Williams on one count of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession with intent to deliver, and one count of conspiracy 

– Kristyn Hayes on one count of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession with intent to deliver, and one count of conspiracy

– Verndell Dupree on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy

– Markeith Stallworth on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy

– Shadrick Crowder on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy

– Finton Lemorin on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy 

– Tyler Horton on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– Stephon Wolfe on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance

– Ledares Lilly on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance

– Travis Frye on one count of delivery of a controlled substance

– Heather Uphold on one count of attempted fraudulent obtaining of a controlled substance

– Travont Thornton on one count of third or subsequent offense domestic battery

– Robert Flowers on three counts of third or subsequent offense domestic battery

– Michael Matamala on one count of third or subsequent offense domestic assault and two counts of escape

– Levi McDonald on one count of fleeing while DUI

– Jeremy Emerson on one count of leaving the scene, one count of reckless driving, and three counts of third or subsequent offense driving while license suspended or revoked for DUI

– Paul Kiruki on one count of leaving the scene, one count of second offense DUI, and one count of third or subsequent offense driving while license suspended or revoked for DUI

– Rachel Hilliard on one count of third or subsequent offense DUI and one count of third or subsequent offense driving while license suspended or revoked for DUI

– Stephen Stiles on one count of third or subsequent offense DUI and one count of third or subsequent offense driving while license suspended or revoked for DUI

– Maurice Everett on one count of third or subsequent offense DUI and one count of third or subsequent offense driving while license suspended or revoked for DUI

– Shayne Uphold on one count of second offense failure to register
