A Harrison County man is facing charges after a woman was killed in a Sunday morning crash in Sardis.
Harrison County Sheriff’s deputies tell 12 News that Jeffrey Davis, 32, was driving a Chevy Blazer on Gains Hollow Road, heading towards Sardis, just before 3:45 a.m.
Deputies said Davis lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road hitting a ditch and flipped the vehicle on its top.
Passenger, Courtney Cottrill was killed in the crash.
Davis was arrested and charged with DUI causing death with reckless disregard. He is in the North Central Regional Jail on $50,000 bond.
One woman is dead after a single vehicle accident in Harrison County.
Deputies said it happened on Gains Hollow Road in Sardis, just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
